Lots of good information in the comments section too from seasoned trappers.Have a kitty who is challenging to trap and/or will not enter your trap?!!!TRAP TRAINING may be the answer to this problem!1. Securely zip tie the trap door open so the trap can not close. 2. Start with the food right in front of the trap. This is a good time to implement a feeding schedule if you haven’t already done so. 3. Move the food bowl back a little each day until it’s in the back of the trap. 4. When the cat is freely going in and out of the trap for food, cut the ties and set the trap as normal for a scheduled spay/neuter date. ‼️Don't trap a cat unless you have an appointment or have a walk-in clinic option.⚠️ The only available food should be near or in the trap.*Photo & information courtesy of Bay Area Cats: TNR & Community Cat Resources and Stray Cat TNR. ...
